It is hereby officially declared that your contract is with Unique Kerala Holidays. A legally binding agreement is established when we have confirmed your reservation on our tour, hotel booking, or any other travel related services you have opted for and we have received your booking request and any applicable deposits. All communication related to Tours and Travel Services bookings should be directed to M/s. Unique Kerala Holidays. for attention, in order to ensure appropriate and timely resolution.
In order to ensure that the services contracted are held on a confirmed basis, it is necessary that the client makes a 50% advance payment. The balance amount should be paid before the commencement of their tour. We retain the authority to determine the amount to be provided as an advance payment, commensurate with the nature of services expected and the amount of time until the commencement of services. In certain special circumstances, such as a train journey on the Palace on Wheels or hotel or resort bookings during peak tourist season (i.e. Christmas and New Year), full payment must be made in advance.
Clients have the option of making payment through our secured online payment gateway system, by Bank Transfer, Cash payment to our offices in the designated city or by Demand Draft / Cheque. The convenience of a Credit Card payment is also available. It is expected that all payments should not be subject to any deductions or withholding taxes. Additionally, any bank charges that are incurred by the payer or their remitting bank should be borne exclusively by the payer.
Rights to amend the itinerary if required
Once the tour begins, the itinerary will be followed as it was originally established. However, under certain circumstances that are out of our control, we reserve the right to modify or alter all or parts of the itinerary for the safety and comfort of our valued passengers.
Our Liabilities & Limitations:
It is important to be aware that, upon completion of the tour/service cost, if the Government of India implements any increases in entrance fees to monuments/museums, taxes, fuel cost, or guide charges, these additional costs will be borne by the customer.
It is our responsibility to act solely as an agent on behalf of the hotels, airlines, transporters, railways, and contractors providing other services. Moreover, any exchange orders, receipts, contracts, and tickets issued by us are subject to the terms and conditions under which these services are provided by the aforementioned.
It is important to note that all itineraries given are intended to be used as a sample for your reference, providing an overall concept of what the trip schedule would likely resemble. However, numerous external factors including, but not limited to the weather, road conditions, and the physical ability of the participants, may affect the actual outcome of the trip. We reserve the right to make adjustments to the itinerary either before the tour or while on the trail. Such changes are intended to ensure the safety, comfort and general well-being of all participants and are made in the interest of all individuals taking part in the trip.
Our rates, which have been negotiated by us with the hotels, airlines, etc., are based on the prevailing rates. It is important to note that hotels and airlines reserve the right to alter their rates without any prior notification. We reserve the right to adjust the rates quoted prior to any modifications made by hotels or airlines. Additionally, all hotel bookings are subject to the standard check-in and checkout times of each hotel, unless otherwise specified in the itinerary.
We would like to kindly inform our customers that any delays or alterations to the programme, as well as any additional expenses incurred – either directly or indirectly – due to natural hazards, flight cancellations, accidents, breakdowns of machinery or equipment, breakdowns of transportation, bad weather, sickness, and landslides shall not be our responsibility.
We hereby declare that we are not liable for any losses, damages, or injuries sustained by any person, property, or otherwise in relation to any accommodation, transportation, or other services that may be the result of any act of GOD, dangers, fire, accident, breakdowns in machinery or equipment, transportation disruptions, wars, civil disturbances, strikes, riots, thefts, pilferages, epidemics, medical or customs department regulations, defaults, or any other forces beyond our control, may cause delays or suspension of services.
All overseas visitors seeking to enter India, excluding citizens of Nepal and Bhutan, must possess a valid passport and a valid visa. This must be valid for at least 06 months. Please note that the cost of procuring the Passport and Visa are not included in the tour cost.
In order to maintain a safe and secure environment for all who use the tour services, anyone who has a contagious disease is not permitted to travel with us. In the event that any individual is found to have a contagious disease during the tour, they must leave the tour and make their own arrangements to return to their place of origin.
Arrival and Departure Policy
Check-in time between 12:00 and 15:00, and a check-out time between 10:00 and 12:00.
The Overnight Houseboat check in time is 12.00 noon and check out is 09.00 hrs the next day. While it is possible for early arrival, this is subject to availability. In order to guarantee an early check-in, a reservation must be made from the night prior. On request, later check-outs may be available, depending on payment and availability. Although we can make a request for an early check-in or late checkout, we cannot guarantee either one, as this is dependent on the policy of the hotel, the time of the year, and the availability of the room.
